High-pressure Structure of 2D Ferromagnet CrSiTe₃ Clarified in Recent Study

According to research published in The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, Prof. DING Junfeng from Institute of Solid State Physics (ISSP), Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, together with Prof. WANG Weihua from Nankai University, clarified high-pressure structure of CrSiTe₃, which highlighted the ultralow-frequency Raman spectroscopy on detecting the interlayer coupling on Two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals materials.

Radiation Damage Simulation Software Developed for Defect Accumulation Mechanisms Study in Polycrystalline Materials

Recently, the research group led by Prof. LIU Changsong from Institute of Solid State Physics (ISSP), Hefei Institutes of Physical Science (HFIPS) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) developed a set of software for simulating the evolution of displacement damage in polycrystalline metals at across time and space scales, which was named object kinetic Monte Carlo-lattice kinetic Monte Carlo (OKMC-LKMC) hybridization simulation software.

Electronic Phase Diagram Established in Fe Intercalated Weyl Semimetal T_d-MoTe₂ for the First Time

According to research published in Advanced Materials recently, a team led by Prof. LUO Xuan from Institute of Solid State Physics, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science (HFIPS), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) made a breakthrough in tunning electronic properties of Weyl Semimetal T_d-MoTe₂ by intercalating 3d-element Fe atoms into the van der Waals (vdW) gap, which brought about exotic electronic behaviors as well as the first-time observed magnetic states in the topologically nontrivial Td phase.
