At the invitation of ISSP, Scientists from National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan, paid a visit to The Institute of Solid State Physics(ISSP), CAS. Prof. Weipin Cai, the Vice director of ISSP, Hosted the Japanese guests. Dr. Tsuyoshi Hasegawa and other visitors inspected the nano-materials and structures laboratory and other research facilities of ISSP. On November 3, Dr. Tsuyoshi Hasegawapresented a seminar to scientists from ISSP.　

The National Institute for Materials Science, NIMS, is a well-known research institution in field of materials science. Dr. Tsuyoshi Hasegawa received his bachelor degree at Tokyo Institute of Technology. He worked in Hitachi Company as a senior research scientist from 1987 to 2002. Since 2002, he worked as a research fellow in NIMS, Japan.
